Butterfly –
Hovering with wings poised to fly;
Free from the cumbersome life of a worm;
Free, at last, from the dark cocoon.
Jesus Christ –
Lifted up through the clouds in the sky:
Free from the cumbersome life of a man;
Free, at last, from the darkened tomb.
You and I-
Lifted, by Christ, from the miry clay;
Free, at last, from sin and strife;
Free to live the victorious life,
Like the butterfly.
